Bound Magazine is an indie travel magazine that features a distinctive serene illustrated style that sets it apart from other travel magazines. The magazine uses a colour palette centred around a pastel blue that creates a relaxed, trustworthy feel to the publication. Flat illustrations are used throughout, with just enough detail to entice but not enough that readers think they have seen it all.

Reimagined for the digital platform, the layouts of the feature spreads were reworked to fit a cellular device along with an interactive digital component for some. Using GPS signals, the publication is transformed into a travel companion app which provides geological aids for globetrotters.
